Setelah bersara, beliau yang telah terbiasa bekerja mencetus ilham untuk menghasilkan jam tawaf yang berciri mewah untuk pasaran tempatan.

Jam tawaf Fateh Watches mempunyai keunikan tersendiri, berbeza dengan jenama jam tawaf yang lain di pasaran. Rekaan ilustrasi di muka jam tangan direka khas oleh Tuan Haji Zainal Mohd Ali dengan ciri-ciri unik. Kewujudan dual time dengan menggunakan dua enjin jam yang bergerak berlawanan arah secara serentak merupakan ciri-ciri yang tidak ada pada jam tawaf yang lain.

Pengikat tali jam (clasp) pula menggunakan butterfly clasp yang agak jarang dilihat pada jenama jam tawaf yang lain. Menurut Haji Zainal Mohd Ali, penggunaan butterfly clasp ini menyelesaikan masalah jam terjatuh ke lantai ketika dibuka untuk mengambil wudhu’.
